Powerskating Stickhandling Camp

Proper skating mechanics is a crucial part of being a successful hockey player. The camp will work every angle of skating from defense to forward. The camp will also work on stickhandling, shooting, and passing. 

 

The areas of focus for skating will be:

  • Stride mechanics, forward and backward including quick starts and efficient skating.

  • Maneuvering (forward and backward), edge control including crossovers, power turns and transitions.

  • Hockey stops forward and backward.

The camp will also cover stick skills including:

  • Shooting mechanics, wrist shot, snapshot, slap shot (older group) and backhand.

  • Passing, forehand, and backhand including saucer pass.

  • Stickhandling and advanced stickhandling including deeks.

Bozeman, MT - Haynes Pavillion

Tuesdays, March 24, 31, April 7 and 14 

  • Youth (Ages 9 and Up): 4:00-4:50 PM $120

  • Adults: 5:00-5:50 PM $120 

In Collaboration with Elevated Hockey: Register for George Wolff Hockey Camp (Tuesdays) and Elevated Hockey Camp (Thursdays) - $200 (Save $40)

Monday through Friday, August 10 through 14

Ages 9 and Under - 2:15-3:40 PM, $199

Ages 10 and Older - 3:50-5:15 PM, FULL

Goalies $30

*Players may be moved up or down based on skill level

 

 

 

 

Checking / Body Contact Camp

Lakewood, CO - Foothills Ice Arena

Focus on safely delivering and receiving a check along the boards and open ice.

We will also cover proper angling, puck protection/body positioning, puck battles, and skating skills related to checking.

Open to ages 10 and up

Canceled, no physical contact restrictions
